Just what AdSense users have been waiting for. Google AdSense™ now breaks down reporting for site targeting vs. content targeting. This is a welcome addition to advanced AdSense™ reporting. Now you can tell day-by-day or channel-by-channel how your ads are performing for content targeting vs. site targeting. To see these reports, you will need to go to your advanced reporting. Leave the default product of AdSense for content, choose your date range, then change the "Show data by" to Individual Ad Unit. An option will show up just under it called, "Show data by targeting type - contextual or site." Check that box, then click Display Report. This gives a very nice daily total of your AdSense™ content targeting totals and your AdSense™ site targeting totals. If you use channels, set the option to show channel data and now you can really see how well your ads are performing.
